CoutaKidz Activity Program

The all year round CoutaKidz Activity program is offered exclusively to BIG4 Beacon Resort's guests, is totally free and operates 364 days a year! Check the What's On Calendar for the latest Activity program. Activities range from crafts and games to treasure hunts and include all materials as well as a friendly, helping hand from our experienced coordinator. Each kids activity session operates for approximately an hour and is geared towards preschool aged children & over. Children under 4 years of age are more than welcome to join in, however parental/guardian assistance will be required. Couta tries to make sure that no one misses out, so additional sessions are added during busy times, but please make sure you register with our Guest Relations Team before 7pm the day before the activity. Parents are encouraged to join in the fun at any time however, with all this to entice the children away, Mums and Dads will most likely find themselves at a loose end... plenty of time to put your feet up!

Inflatable Trampoline

Awesome entertainment for kids of all ages, from 3 months to 93! Providing hours of fun... from bouncing babes to tumbling gymnasts - even the grandparents can have a go. Located at the front of the park, with a landscaped BBQ area and picnic seating close by, it's the perfect way to spend a few hours. Features - Suitable for all ages Operates from 8am to 8pm Sand soft fall area 'Jumping frog' on a spring coil Landscaped barbecue area close by Child proof security fence Parental supervision required for children 8 years and under

Indoor Adventure Playroom

Jam packed with fun, there's something for all our young guests at the "Small Fry" Indoor Playroom. Added to the tiered climbing frame, there's slides, ball ponds, tunnels and a trampoline. What more could a small fry ask for!!

Bike Hire

Queenscliff, Point Lonsdale and The Bellarine region boast some fantastic bike tracks to explore , many leading from the resort to the regions most popular attractions. Take a bike ride along the beachfront promenade to Pt Lonsdale, with the seabreeze in your hair, stop for a swim, treat yourself to coffee or continue to Pt Lonsdale Lighthouse for amazing views of 'The Rip' at the entrance to Port Phillip Bay. The Bellarine Rail Trail follows along the boundaries of the heritage listed Swan Bay to Queenscliff Harbour. The Marine Discovery Centre, Queenscliff Shopping Precinct, Fort Queenscliff, Maritime Museum and more will tempt you to explore further as you ride your bike along the safe track. For a unique experience, take your bike on the historic Bellarine Peninsula Railway to Drysdale and race the train back to Queenscliff along the Rail Trail. You may also like to jump on board the ferry with your bike in tow and explore the coastal townships of Sorrento and Portsea or head to Point Nepean on the other side of Port Phillip Bay. We have a wide range of bikes available for hire - adult mountain bikes, children's bikes, tandems, street surfers, GoKarts. Helmets, training wheels, baby seats and bike locks are also available at no additional charge. Bike hire starts from $6.00 per hour to $30.00 for a full day. Basketball Court

Shoot some hoops or attempt your own custom made slam dunk. Our half-court basketball court suits both one on one and full half-court team games! Great fun without all the running!! Balls are available from reception, free of charge.

Tennis Court

Located by The Dock is a full size asphalt tennis court, available exclusively for use by guests all year round. Tennis racquets and balls are available from reception, free of charge. Court use on a share basis, free of charge. Priority booking is available at $3.00 per half hour Take up the challenge or pull up a seat in the landscaped barbeque area, perfect for courtside viewing with a freshly ground latte from the vending machine.

Outdoor Playground

Just the thing to burn up some excess energy after a days' travel. The playground area beside The Dock offers a climbing frame, slide and suspension bridge, where the kids can hang out and make new friends. A large grassed open area provides the opportunity for ball games and free play - perfect for the annual family 'backyard' cricket match. Cricket wickets and balls are available free from reception. Features - Wave slide Suspension bridge Climbing frame Bark soft fall area Bench seat

Indoor Pool

Open all year around, this resort style indoor pool and spa is available exclusively for your use as our guest... and it's totally free. A perfect solution for your winter blues or to compliment your summer vacation. Open daily 8am to 8pm Features - 12.5 metre long; 1.2 metre deep Heated to ~29 degrees Celsius Wading pool - 0.5 metre deep Free Indoor Spa set in a private alcove (8 seater) Courtyard with sun lounges, patio setting and shade umbrellas. Available for exclusive use with prior notice outside of normal operating hours. Hire fee applies.

Queenscliff Skate Park

Conveniently located opposite our entrance is the Queenscliff Skate Park. It caters for skating abilities of beginners through to more advanced and adventurous skaters, roller bladers, and BMX riders. Children under the age of 10 require parental supervision. Safety gear must be worn at the Skate Park.
