Sheltered bay beaches offer wide sandy stretches, easy access and are close to shops, restaurants and cafes. The iconic Queenscliff Pier at the front beach is a frequent haunt for anglers with whiting, trevally and squid in abundance. The wide grassy foreshore is perfect for large gatherings, offering a playground and picnic areas. The stunning backdrop of Port Phillip Bay makes it the ideal location for wedding ceremonies, photographers and artists. The back beach of Queenscliff is accessed via stairs through the sand dunes, providing picturesque views for The Heads, it's great for ship spotting and watching the pilot boats race through the Rip. Wide sandy beaches, rockpools and gentle surf create a popular family haven.
