Fishing in and around Port Philip Bay

Queenscliff and Point Lonsdale offer fishing enthusiasts loads of opportunities to throw in a line. Varieties such as trevally, whiting, flathead, snapper, salmon, garfish, bream and squid are popular catches in the local waters.

Try your luck off one of many piers around The Bellarine or off the jetties in the Queenscliff harbour precinct; relax on the shores of Swan Bay, launch your boat to explore Port Phillip or Corio Bay, or charter a local to take you through the heads for a chance at big time game fishing in Bass Strait.
