The story of "Wild White Man" William Buckley, who lived 32 years with the local Wathaurong people, ranks among the great survivor tales of all-time. The young convict escaped in 1803 at Sorrento and for the next three decades, wandered throughout the region, living much of the time with local Aboriginal tribes. Much of his years on the run were spent around Geelong, through the Otway Ranges and along the coast.

Under the Point Lonsdale Lighthouse, you can still see Buckley's Cave in the cliff where it is thought the escaped convict first sheltered.

Follow the trail, which covers six significant sites across the Geelong region - The You Yangs, Point Lonsdale, Bream Creek, Aireys Inlet, Indented Head and Buckley Falls.

Follow the yellow brick road to find fabled tales collected by legendary European storytellers. Peek into the world of all your favourite Fairytale characters, from Red Riding Hood to Rumplestilzchen.

Housed in specially stylised buildings of castles, cottages and caves all set amongst neatly kept gardens, giant boulders and lovely water features. There are over 22 animated hand crafted scenes that will come to life at the push of a button, all with digitised sound and lighting.
