Too often we complain about bad service but not compliment good service. Your staff do an amazing job as a caravanner who spent three months on the road I have a fair amount of experience of other parks in the chain. But the quality of service we received was easily the best I have seen for a long time. The facilities were first class. The grounds were also excellent considering the water restrictions. As a teacher I give you and the staff an A plus. Thanks for the awesome stay I will be back with the family in tow next time.

One of the friendliest check in staff we have met. Then shown to the site by another friendly staff member. Met a few other staff during our stay and they were the same brilliant people. This Holiday Park sets a new high standard of customer service. Congratulations and thanks for an awesome time.

It is a very clean and tidy park. The rooms were very clean and I enjoyed the set-out of the lovely gardens. The staff are all very helpful and courteous. I will be telling my friends all about it.

"Fantastic facilities and friendly, helpful hosts". The park and it's facilities were great. Wandering around the park, we were impressed with the sites for camping/caravanning, the on-site accommodation was really well set out and a great deal of time and effort has been put into the gardens. The indoor pool and spa were a delight to find and having the huge TV room was an added bonus. The camping kitchen and eating area was a real surprise as were the tennis court and basketball key. All in all we enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this park to everyone from couples wanting a couple of days away (as we did) to families wanting to stay for a couple of weeks. Enjoy! Getaway with Teenage Kids - we enjoyed our stay immensely. All the staff were very helpful and pleasant. The villa was very comfortable and had all the amenities you would need. We used the heated swimming pool and spa which was great. We went on a package which included tickets for the Blues Train which we would highly recommend. It was a great experience. On the Sunday a buffet breakfast was included, which would give any restaurant a run for their money. We cant wait to go back.

This is the best caravan park we have ever stayed at. We stayed in a cabin and it was spotless as well as had everything you needed. The grounds were very neat and tidy. It had everything for kids, including a beautiful indoor pool. We will be back next time with our caravan.

We just LOVED how clean and tidy everything was.We had great service from the time we got there which was very late Friday night to the time we left.You all have a very cheery and happy way about you. Nothing was to hard and even though it was a very hot weekend everything was perfect. THANKYOU

Having stayed at Beacon Point previously we had our grandson with us this time. Having never stayed in a caravan before, we considered the activities available at Beacon Point to be the perfect opportunity for him to experience camping. He had a wonderful time, thank you.

Lorraine Golightly has been a director of BIG4 Beacon Resorts family owned and operated business for the past 40 years. Our holiday park was established by our family in 1970, developing a series of cow paddocks with the intention of providing quality family style accommodation for the region. Beacon now hosts over 127,000 guest nights per year. My husband and I also operate a Marlin Game fishing charter business on the east coast of Queensland; this is a contrast from my busy life at Beacon. Relaxing with a line in the water and enjoying out beautiful coast line and reefs of Australia would have to be one of my favourite things to do.

Lisa Shapter has been with BIG4 Beacon Resort for 17 years. Lisa commenced working with us as a receptionist and is now our General Manager. With her husband Darren and their three children all working at the resort life is fairly hectic but very family focused!

Melanie Maciejewski has worked for the resort for 6 years after a sea-change from Melbourne. Mel is our Guest Relations Manager and is in charge of ensuring all of our guests enjoy and experience our high standards of customer service. Mel, her husband Jay (who is the Resorts Duty and Grounds Manager) along with their two children, live on site and are always ready to assist when needed.
